Before starting a drawing or painting Clovis used to collect the documentation. After the pencil drawing he used China ink and finished with the colour (gouache, water colour or acrylic paint).
He always worked with his hands. He never used the computer ; the logos, decor and complicated parts have never been added with the help of a computer.
